This Roots coffee table, crafted from recycled teak, evokes a compressed sculpture by César! Composed of several pieces of solid wood joined together, it brings a touch of nature and sustainability to a contemporary setting. Indeed, recycled teak is environmentally friendly while offering exceptional durability. This coffee table is unique, as each wood combination can only be achieved once, depending on the shapes, shades, and interplay of solid and void. Pair it with one of our sofas featuring slim armrests for a subtly contrasting effect.
The Uniqka Indoor collection focuses on the quality of "Indonesian teak".
Our entire range of teak furniture is FSC-certified, the result of legal logging and sustainable management, and SVLK-certified, an Indonesian standard for controlling the legality of the timber industry aimed at combating smuggling and deforestation.
Our teak wood is resistant to moisture, water, fungi, mould, insects and various chemicals. Thanks to its high resistance, it is very easy to clean.
Simply use a soft cloth dampened with Marseille soap. Wipe along the grain and dry with a dry cloth.
Our indoor teak doesn't need any special care compared to garden furniture, which can turn grey.
However, if you wish to nourish it, we recommend that you do so once a year using a cloth and linseed wax (for living room furniture) or teak wax (for bathroom furniture). Apply in the direction of the grain of the wood.
However, in the event of an incident (coffee, wine, etc.), you should intervene quickly with a damp cloth.
However, although resistant, teak furniture that is too exposed to damp will fade if it is not properly cared for.
