The Art of Carved Solid Teak, Scandinavian Spirit
Charlie's beauty lies in the purity of its material. Crafted entirely from solid teak, this dining chair offers unparalleled sturdiness and a patina that only deepens with age. Its design is clearly inspired by Scandinavian lines: clean, functional, and celebrating the natural material. The backrest and armrests form a continuous curve, designed to cradle the back and provide superior comfort. It is the quintessential teak chair for discerning interiors.
This Charlie model differs from its Charline counterpart by its more fluid and slightly flared leg lines, accentuating its modern and light look, while retaining the excellence of the solid teak wood structure.
Everyday Comfort
With its perfectly calibrated seat height and ideally positioned armrests, Charlie is a solid wood chair designed for long-lasting use. Its versatility allows it to find its place around the dining table, in a living room as a reading nook, or as an extra chair in an office. It brings the warmth and durability that only solid wood furniture can offer.
The Uniqka Indoor collection focuses on the quality of "Indonesian teak".
Our entire range of teak furniture is FSC-certified, the result of legal logging and sustainable management, and SVLK-certified, an Indonesian standard for controlling the legality of the timber industry aimed at combating smuggling and deforestation.
Our teak wood is resistant to moisture, water, fungi, mould, insects and various chemicals. Thanks to its high resistance, it is very easy to clean.
Simply use a soft cloth dampened with Marseille soap. Wipe along the grain and dry with a dry cloth.
Our indoor teak doesn't need any special care compared to garden furniture, which can turn grey.
However, if you wish to nourish it, we recommend that you do so once a year using a cloth and linseed wax (for living room furniture) or teak wax (for bathroom furniture). Apply in the direction of the grain of the wood.
However, in the event of an incident (coffee, wine, etc.), you should intervene quickly with a damp cloth.
However, although resistant, teak furniture that is too exposed to damp will fade if it is not properly cared for.
